Digital Marketing Executive

My client based outside of Bath City Centre are seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to join their team and help develop effective marketing campaigns across all digital channels. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about digital marketing and is eager to work on a variety of tasks, from website management to content creation and social media engagement.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in the maintenance and management of three websites, including regular updates for product launches, discontinuations, and ongoing optimisations.
  • Evaluate digital customer journeys and digital KPIs using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, HotJar, and SemRush.
  • Execute the content calendar by deploying SEO tactics to increase website visitors and create SEO content like blogs and landing pages to improve search rankings and drive quality traffic.
  • Contribute to social media activity by assisting with the content calendar, responding to queries, and managing influencer and brand collaborations.
  • Assist with content capture and creation for digital channels as required.
  • Build and report on email campaigns in Mailchimp and manage brand marketing mailboxes.
  • Support the creation and implementation of campaigns for new product launches across paid channels.
  • Manage retailer portal requirements, asset creation, and act as a point of contact for the distribution network and ecommerce relationships.
  • Provide support for business growth strategies and target new audience campaigns.
  • Create reports and conduct research to support the New Product Development (NPD) department with product research and digital insights.
  • Provide quarterly reporting on organic search, social media, influencer collaboration, and blog content.
  • Offer industry and competitor insights into digital marketing activity and assist in creating competitor analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on website management, SEO, and content creation.
  • Familiarity with digital analytical tools such as Google Analytics, HotJar, and SemRush.
  • Experience with social media management and content creation.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms, preferably Mailchimp.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a digital team and contribute to various campaigns.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking with an analytical approach to marketing strategies.
