Digital Marketing Executive

If you’ve got experience in optimising and updating websites and are looking for your next opportunity to join a dynamic and award-winning marketing team that are at the forefront of the business, our Digital Marketing Executive role could be for you. Hillarys are part of the Hunter Douglas group of companies, so whilst this role will predominately manage and optimise the Hillarys website, there will be opportunities to work on other websites within the HD group.

Our websites are our key assets; with more than 95% of all customers landing here at some point in the customer journey, so you’ll need to champion customer experience throughout every aspect of this role and have a keen interest in the data side of our websites. You will take the lead in delivering our CRO programme, ensuring we are always optimising our websites through A/B testing, whilst sharing these learnings across the group and maintaining our position as market leader.

Attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation skills are a must, as you’ll be juggling multiple tasks at once. We’re looking for a self-starter who takes ownership of their decisions and work, delivering new ideas with tangible benefits, you’ll be great at communicating with various stakeholders from around the business. You’ll create detailed digital briefs that you see through to completion, effectively communicating with various business stakeholders and external agencies to keep them up-to-date and ensuring no detail is missed.

You’ll be great at balancing working autonomously and within a team, as you’ll be working on a breadth of exciting projects, whilst collaborating with other marketing functions such as SEO, Content, Insights, Social, Email and Campaign team to ensure the best user experience that drives real value for the business.

Are you the ideal candidate? Here’s what we’re looking for…

  • Experience in Digital Marketing – specifically working on websites and user experience.
  • Experience in A/B testing and CRO
  • Analytical, with the ability to interpret website data and performance via Google Analytics
  • Adopts a commercial mindset – ability to interpret business insights to make decisions and optimise our websites to drive the best quality leads into the business.
  • Confident communicator and excellent collaborator
  • Strong prioritisation skills
  • Ability to use initiative, with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance customer experience.
  • Adaptable to change
  • Good presentation skills
