We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Print Operator to join our dynamic team at GRS Fleet Graphics, a leading specialist vehicle branding company based in Southampton, on a full-time basis.

As a Digital Print Operator, you will operate and maintain digital printing equipment to produce vinyl vehicle graphics. Your primary duties will include processing printing jobs and ensuring the efficient and accurate production of various print projects.

About Us

We are a Specialist Vehicle Branding Company servicing a National Portfolio of Fleet Operators, Local Authorities, Utility, Rental/Leasing companies and Commercial Vehicle Suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor wide-format digital printing equipment, including printers, laminators, and plotting machines
  • Prepare and set up printing jobs by loading materials, adjusting print settings, and ensuring the proper calibration of equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritise and schedule print jobs, ensuring deadlines are met, and production schedules are maintained
  • Conduct regular quality checks during printing to ensure colour accuracy, print clarity, and overall print quality
  • Maintain accurate records of print jobs, consumables and material usage
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with the printing equipment and remedy or liaise with relevant parties to resolve them promptly
  • Perform routine maintenance on digital printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Digital Print Operator or in a similar role is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
