Digital Procurement Lead

  • Canary Wharf (Hybrid Working)
  • Up to £589.00 (inside IR35)
  • 3-6 months rolling contract

Sanderson have partnered with a large consultancy to identify a Digital/IT Procurement Lead to take overarching ownership of many varied tasks supporting to procurement of digital services.

The ideal candidate will have experience with;

  • Digital Procurement (particularly digital services)
  • 5 case Business Case creation
  • Assurance and approval processes through public sector
  • Proven character and capability to lead and push the procurement process
  • Management of multi-disciplinary procurement/project teams

They will be responsible for;

  • Building of tender content that will entice bidders to apply to be the Digital Partner.
  • Management of the relevant members of the digital team and associated consultants and specialists in the delivery of the end-to-end procurement process
  • Ensuring that the procurement process is compliant with all statutory requirements as well as relevant local policies / standards / procedures.
  • Consideration of commercial structures, incentives and KPIs that encourage the preferred supplier behaviours and are easily managed by the Client team
  • Monitoring and management of risks and the removal of blockers with stakeholders and colleagues to aid the team's success
  • Ensuring strategic decisions are anticipated in advance and the relevant stakeholders are alerted in a timely manner
