Digital Product Owner / Business Analyst - Digital Business Analyst - Digital Product Owner - Technical Product Owner

Overview of the role:

As the Digital Product Owner / Digital Business Analyst you will be working closely with the software development team, digital product team and external client to help shape and deliver the technical requirements. You will be leading workshops, engaging with a range of techy and non techy stakeholders.

  • Undertake activity to translate business ideas into business/process outcomes and technology solutions
  • Determine options by liaising with solutions designers and development staff to facilitate solution prototypes and engage with stakeholders to agree outcomes.
  • Identify & document changes to service, process, organisation, operating model and other aspects as needed.
  • Document how requirements are met and delivered, identifying any gaps not delivered & options considered. Ability to influence business decisions.
  • Take account of (and deliver solution options compliant with) relevant architectures, strategies, roadmaps, polices and standards related to all line of business applications and master data.
  • Takes responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution. Identifies, evaluates and recommends options, implementing if required. Collaborates with, and facilitates stakeholder groups, as part of formal or informal consultancy agreements. Seeks to fully address client needs, enhancing the capabilities and effectiveness of client personnel, by ensuring that proposed solutions are properly understood and appropriately exploited

Core responsibilities:

  • Gathering, analysis and management of business requirements.
  • Support the PO writing user stories and acceptance criteria. Create executable specs using BDD, to help guide an iterative development process, maximizing customer value.
  • Support the PO managing the product backlog
  • Liaise with Change Function to develop business requirements into functional/solution requirements.
  • Develop and update system/solution/process documentation associated with the solution delivery.
  • Write user stories to inform Dev and Test
