The Company

An exciting role working for a technology driven subscriptions business who are looking for a Director of Data to spearhead the growth of the central data team. You will be involved with developing data strategy, manage a team of data professionals and continue to be hands on with the data.

THE ROLE

Responsibilities

As a Director of Data and Analytics, you will sit on the leadership team with some of your main responsibilities will be:

  • Provide strategic direction and vision for analytics, insights, data science and market research teams.
  • Work with C-suite to align data initiatives within the business - spanning across marketing, commercial, product development, and customer experience
  • Support the deployment of predictive models
  • Coach, develop and lead a team of data professionals - also spearhead the growth of the team

Your Skills And Experience

A successful Director of Data and Analytics will have:

  • A strong understand of data and business strategy, having developed data strategy
  • This client can only consider candidates who have lead teams across product, customer/marketing analytics as well as data science
  • The ability to see the commercial value of data and provide insights.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced B2C environment.
  • Must have grown out a team of data professionals - data science/ advanced analytics remit.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to converse with C-level stakeholders
  • Educated to a degree level or above in a STEM subject
