My client is a global broadcast brand. They are seeking an experienced Director of Business Systems to join as they expand their UK office. The Business Systems role is to own, develop, manage, optimise and maintain the organization’s Business software applications through best practices, the appropriate staffing and management of a support & projects team. You will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the user groups on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of internal and external mission-critical media management and job management systems.
Responsibilities will include:
The Director of Business Systems is responsible for all services delivered by the Systems Team. These services range from internal bespoke to external managed services and cover a broad domain space. Below are some illustrative services in scope:
- Order Management (Xytech Media Pulse)
- Business Intelligence
- Business process definition, data processing, systems programming/analysis and development.
- Establishes effective communications with appropriate department heads and managers. Keeps peers informed of department progress and problems.
- Performs resource allocation, including budget and personnel.
- Extensive Xytech MediaPulse experience preferably gained within a media brand
- Demonstrable leadership skills and ambition
- Good personal organisational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good project management skills
- Able to articulate opinions and facts clearly
- Decisive
- Able to work in a team
- Able to discuss technical and commercial issues with clients, suppliers and colleague
- First class verbal, numerical and written communication skills.
