Our client, a global investment bank looking to grow their presence in European Credit Trading, is looking to add an Investment Grade Credit Trader to their team at VP/Director level, focusing on European Corporates. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in trading investment-grade credit products, managing risk, and contributing to the growth of our trading desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute trades in investment-grade credit products, including corporate bonds and credit derivatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key market participants, including brokers, investors, and issuers.
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to inform trading strategies.
  • Manage risk effectively and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other traders, analysts, and portfolio managers to optimise trading performance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative trading strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in trading investment-grade credit products, preferably at a Vice President or Director level.
  • Strong understanding of credit markets, including corporate bonds and credit derivatives.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to manage risk and make informed trading decisions.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
