THE COMPANY

The company is a high growth, innovative leading US International Law firm with global offices. They are looking for a Director of Finance based in London to oversee Europe, with offices in London, Frankfurt, Paris and Brussels. A law firm or professional services sector experience is preferred and French or German language advantageous.

THE POSITION

The position (hybrid, 3-4 days in office) reports to USA global Finance and responsibilities cover UK and Europe and include:

  • finance team management, training and performance for London and European offices
  • develop and manage best practice in the finance team, processes, policies and procedures
  • management of treasury functions and banking relationships
  • liaison with Tax department as required
  • management of audit and compliance related projects
  • management of billings and collections
  • management of finance, exchange rates and related operations in a multi-currency environment
  • Ad hoc projects, streamlining and systems development

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates require Finance Director / Director of Finance experience in a large Law or professional services environment including the experience described in the position responsibilities. Additional French or German language is advantageous. This is an outstanding position in an international law firm. The salary banding advertised is a guideline, the remuneration offered will be commensurate upon experience.
