Are you a tax enthusiast with a knack for strategic thinking? Look no further! We are seeking a Director of Global Tax Management to join our client's team. In this exciting role, you will be at the helm of managing all tax-related matters for our client's organization.

Your mission:
To ensure they comply with tax laws across multiple jurisdictions, minimize tax liabilities, and steer them towards optimal tax positions. As a key collaborator, you'll work closely with internal teams, external advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure their tax compliance and reporting is accurate and timely. Your challenges:

? Tax planning and strategy:
? Develop and implement smart tax strategies for our client across multiple countries and jurisdictions. ? Provide tax planning advice for new or existing entities. ? Maintain compliance with tax laws and regulations in each region. ? Identify opportunities for tax savings by researching tax laws, regulations, and rulings and recommend appropriate actions to internal stakeholders. ? Stay up-to-date with international tax laws on income, capital gains, withholding taxes, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, etc. ? Understand the tax impact of new digital business models and stay informed about the latest tax technology and data management trends.

? Tax compliance:
? Prepare and file all tax returns promptly and accurately, including income, sales, payroll, and other applicable taxes. ? Assess potential impacts of tax laws and regulations changes and advise our client on ensuring compliance. ? Review and analyze financial data, supporting documents, and tax schedules to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

? Tax reporting and analysis:
? Prepare and review financial statements, tax provisions, and related disclosures to comply with accounting standards and reporting requirements. ? Perform tax-related financial analysis, including effective tax rate calculations, deferred tax assets/liabilities, and tax-related contingencies. ? Ensure accurate financial reporting and address tax-related audit inquiries by working with external auditors.

? Tax audit and controversy:
? Oversee tax disputes, audits, and litigation while representing our client's interests before tax authorities and courts. ? Defend the organization's tax positions and mitigate tax exposure.

? Team management:
? Train and mentor tax professionals across multiple locations to achieve performance standards. ? Foster collaboration between regional tax teams.

What you will have;
? 10+ years of hands-on tax experience, with at least 5 years of management experience
? Significant experience in dealing with cross-border and transfer pricing and withholding tax issues
? Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations across geographies
? Ability to interpret and apply complex tax rules to specific situations, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
? Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills
? Proficiency in various tax calculation and reporting methodologies
? Experience in setting up a relevant system for tax management
? Excellent spoken and written English communication
