Director of Operations

I am seeking an Director of Operations to oversee and optimise operations across three key sites, ensuring that both customer and company objectives are met. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a track record of delivering exceptional service and operational excellence within a dynamic environment.

Day-to-day of the Director of Operations:

• Develop and implement operational strategies across multiple sites.
• Lead strategic operational projects, offering insight and expertise.
• Mentor site operations managers to ensure consistent, high-quality operations.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and champion our people values.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and operational KPIs.
• Manage resources effectively within budget and in collaboration with third-party labour suppliers.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and accurate order fulfilment.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve issues and exceed customer expectations.
• Drive technology adoption, including the implementation of warehouse management systems, to enhance efficiency.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, identifying and implementing operational improvements.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to boost productivity and reduce waste.

Required Skills & Qualifications of the Director of Operations

• Previous experience working across various operations (including warehouse, customer service, supply chain and sales) and multisite
• Proven leadership in a multi-site operations environment.
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and relevant technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
