Director of Revenue Management

Based in Malta, our multinational client are looking for an experienced Revenue Manager to join their team on a permanent basis as Director of Revenue Management.

This role would suit an individual with at least 5 years of experience in the area of revenue management, distribution or similar, ideally in the lifestyle-oriented hotel business, and will have already gained leadership experience in a similar position. They will be responsible for the strategic orientation of the hotels in order to ensure the maximisation of total revenue and market share.

Our client is a leading and fast-growing hospitality group with hotels and functions in the heart of some of Europe's most exciting locations.

The successful candidate will be a specialist in revenue management for varied hotel markets and products. They must have high level of analytical thinking and methodical action as well as extensive project management experience. Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal, and the ability to interact confidently in critical situations is essential for this role. This person must be proficient with revenue management systems like Duetto or IDeaS, with experience in multiple channel managers and different property management systems. Expert knowledge of diverse distribution channels is required for this role.

Duties will include:

• Manage the overall strategic performance of multiple properties.
• Play an essential role in strategic planning, alongside the Group Director of Revenue & Distribution
• Analyse data and trends to identify revenue opportunities and potential risks.
• Lead the oversight and optimisation of revenue management processes, developing both short-term and long-term strategies.
• Mentor, coach, and provide support to revenue managers, coordinating team actions to encourage collaboration and innovation.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of forecasts, budgets, and month-end reports at both property and portfolio levels.
• Prepare detailed reports and provide commentary on results, forecasts, and progress towards goals for the portfolio.
