Disability Assessor – Norwich

No weekends, no evenings, new challenge!
We are looking for qualified Nurses (RGNs Or Dual Trained RGNs with RMN, RNLD), Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapy to join an established team of Assessors. 

Salary: £39,500
Location: Norwich
Working Pattern: Hybrid (homebased and office), 37.5 hrs (09:00 am – 17:00 pm) – No Weekends or Bank Holidays! Part time available.
Training: 10-week program, FTE working hours

Role Overview:
Review medical evidence and deliver assessments on behalf of the DWP for a leading provider of health-related government services. Assess claimants of WCA benefits, conducting thorough functional medical assessments and submitting reports to the DWP.  

The Work Capability Assessment (WCA) determines eligibility for benefits due to illness or disability, primarily for Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and Universal Credit. You'll evaluate how an individual's condition affects their ability to work, ensuring they get the support they need.

Requirements:

  • RGN or dual trained RGN & RNLD / RMN, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapy
  • MUST BE: 2 years qualified with a 2-year registration on the NMC and 2 years’ clinical experience
  • Skilled in report writing
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work towards set targets
