Dispatch and Stores Operative/Counter Balance Forklift Driver

Our client is based in Worthing, West Sussex. They are a family run business with almost 50 years expertise design, manufacturing and distribution. They are dedicated to delivering tailored, practical solutions for our partners.

Due to expansion, they are seeking a Dispatch and Stores Operatives to receive, handle and despatch goods and products coming into, and going out of the factories (Worthing and Goring), ensuring operations are completed in a safe and efficient manner.

They are looking for a team player who is driven, solutions focused and able to work to their own initiative

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all warehouse work across both sites, packing and dispatch
• Loading and unloading materials using the forklift
• Goods inwards/outwards processing
• Making deliveries and collections in the work van
• Moving stock, kits and assemblies across both factories
• Checking in free issue kits/parts
• Assist with kitting and stock control
• Any other reasonable duties as required by Operations

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Computer literate
• Full driving licence is a must
• Counterbalance forklift licence (refreshers can be booked)
• Import / Export knowledge is advantageous
• Experience with CRM/ERP system is advantageous
• 7.5T licence is advantageous
