Dispute Resolution Lawyer

  • Salary: £60-£80,000+ doe

We are seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join our busy office in Guildford. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and possess in-depth technical knowledge across a broad range of cases, including General and Commercial Litigation, Property and Boundary Disputes, Leasehold and Construction Disputes, Contentious Trust and Probate, and Employer and Employee Disputes.

Please note this position does not involve dealing with personal injury and medical negligence work.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of dispute resolution matters with autonomy.
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in various disputes.
  • Prepare and review legal documents and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Conduct negotiations and represent clients in court proceedings when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with team members across all offices to ensure a cohesive approach to client service.
  • Engage in business development activities and networking to contribute to the department’s growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • UK Qualified Solicitor / Lawyer with;
  • A minimum of 5 years PQE in Dispute Resolution.
  • Proven track record of handling a full range of dispute resolution cases.
  • Ability to manage and run your own files independently.
  • High organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong business development and networking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
