Job Title: Youth Practitioner - Part Time
Location: Haringey
Pay Rate: £18 Per hour
Job Type: Full Time/Contract

The Role

  1. Engage with young people to enable them develop their potential to be safe social and successful
  1. Improve outcomes for vulnerable young people and families in Haringey
  1. Contribute to personal development, educational, training and employment opportunities for young people, working to ensure inclusion and achievement
  1. Prevent escalation of need and reduce demand for statutory services
  1. Ensure young people are safeguarded by identifying and addressing child protection issues and concerns with colleagues as appropriate.

The Candidate

  • Evidence based practice for young people and their families.
  • Good understanding of youth work
  • Equality and diversity issues
  • Context/ issues (and support available) for families with multiple needs
