My client is an esteemed law firm specialising in family law and divorce matters. Renowned for providing exceptional legal services, the firm guides clients through the intricate landscape of divorce and family-related legal issues. The team of experienced professionals is dedicated to delivering compassionate and efficient solutions while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

My client is actively seeking an experienced Divorce Solicitor to join its dynamic team. As a Divorce Solicitor, the successful candidate will assume a pivotal role in assisting clients with divorce proceedings, safeguarding their rights and interests. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing clients with expert counsel on divorce laws, processes, and potential outcomes.
  • Skillfully preparing and filing divorce petitions, financial disclosure documents, and other legal paperwork.
  • Negotiating settlements and, when necessary, representing clients in court.
  • Offering knowledgeable legal advice on child custody, alimony, property division, and other family law matters.
  • Collaborating with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case progression and client satisfaction.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

To thrive in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
  • A minimum of 3-6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in family law, with a particular focus on divorce cases.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities.
  • An empathetic and sensitive approach to handling emotionally charged situations.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Superb organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research, writing, and drafting legal documents.
