Live in Couple Job in North London

Accommodation: housed within the light-filled basement area with separate entrance, comprising a double bedroom with en suite and in-built double wardrobe, almost private use of the formal catering kitchen that would only be used for entertaining (1-2 times a month), private light-filled living room, shared corridors around this area. Pets cannot be accommodated.

Working week: Monday to Friday with flexibility to work some weekends with days off during the week in lieu.

Hours: 9am - 5:30pm

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 GPA, depending on experience

Start date: September

A lovely retired Couple are seeking a Domestic Couple to work in their stunning newly renovated 8,000sq property in North London. This is an opportunity to work with truly lovely clients who are in turn keen to find someone to work with them on a long term basis. This renovation project has been going on for 4 years, and this Summer the house will be complete and ready to move into. This is a large 4 storey house with 5 bedrooms, cinema, and living spaces. There is a summer house on site too, with a sauna, gym, and pool. Completing the family is a small Dog.

The principals also have another property on the South West coast, and the successful Couple may be required to travel there occasionally.

Responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning and housekeeping
• Laundry and ironing
• Caring for fine art and furniture
• Wardrobe management
• Execute specialist cleaning tasks with care, particularly for flooring, surfaces, antiques, etc.
• Occasional cooking would be a bonus but is not essential
• Occasionally assisting when the family are entertaining.
• Driving duties
• Grounds and garden maintenance
• Upkeep of the grounds and house.
• Management of contractors for repairs and upkeep.
• Pool maintenance, a freshwater pool. Training can be provided.
• First point of call for deliveries.
• Management of the house systems inc heating.
• DIY & basic repairs
• House / Pet sitting when the clients are away would be a huge bonus
• Flexibility to travel to Devon property if needed

The ideal couple must be warm, pet friendly, proactive, energetic, flexible and have longevity in their previous roles.
