Live in Couple Job in Bristol

A lovely client of ours is looking for a Domestic Couple to join them. The family of 4, including 2 young adults, along with 3 dogs. The family reside in a 9-bedroom property on 6 acres.

The ideal Couple must be dog friendly, flexible, easy going, hardworking and proactive.

Duties:

  • Keeping the house clean and tidy
  • Family laundry and ironing
  • Wardrobe management
  • Preparing some meals for the family
  • Some PA duties (paying bills, liaising with contractors, booking appointments etc)
  • Shopping and running errands
  • Assisting with parties and when the family are entertaining
  • Garden maintenance (lawn mowing, strimming, trimming, pruning, weeding etc)
  • Use and maintenance of garden machinery
  • Swimming pool maintenance
  • Dog care
  • Driving duties and vehicle maintenance
  • Handyman duties (DIY, basic repairs, painting & decorating)
  • Security of the property
  • House and pet sitting when the family are away

Start: ideally April, but flexible for the right Couple

Accommodation: a self-contained 1-bedroom apartment within the main house on a separate floor with a separate entrance. The principals are planning to build a 1-bedroom separate dwelling on the estate within 9-12 months’ time. Utility bills will be paid by the employer. No pets allowed currently, but possibly in the future when the separate dwelling is built.

Working week: 45 hours a week, mainly across Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm with some hours required during evenings and a couple of weekends a month.

Drivers: ideally both are drivers

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
