Acorn by SYNERGIE are searching for a field based Drainage Engineer to join our client, a nationwide drainage investigation and repair company.

The purpose of the role is to improve operations work throughout Scotland. Primarily domestic work and specifically covering Motherwell, Glasgow and Edinburgh, a commercial vehicle will be provided.

Duties include:

* Investigating problems to determine whether there is a blockage or leak

* Carry out draining CCTV surveys and produce reports

* Using jetting equipment to clean and unblock drains

* Produce basic drawings of sites showing all draining connectivity

* Evacuation and repair of broken or Fawlty sewers

* Relining of drains

The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role with good technical knowledge of drainage repairs. Must have a good understanding of adopting various techniques pertaining to the ground or site conditions. Highly organised and effective with the ability to plan and schedule your own workload with the minimum of supervision.

Ideally, experience working with High Pressure water Jetting, Confined spaces, First Aid at work, Street Works Unit 2 (NRWSA) and must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 40hrs per week.

Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience
