Drainage Engineer
An opportunity for an engineer to join a well-established organisation on a full-time, permanent basis.
Please note, this is a 40-hour week and different shift patterns apply:
- Day Shift: 7:30AM - 5PM (£13 per hour)
- Evening Shift: 3PM - 12PM (£19.50 per hour)
- Overtime: Saturday (£19.50 per hour) Sunday (£26 per hour)
As the Drainage Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out all aspects of drainage work for corporate and individual clients.
- Attending PPM work and any call outs.
- Lifting manhole covers, jetting by hand, dragging the hose from the reel.
- Entering chambers, cleaning debris.
- Lifting gulleys up to 40kg on a hinge.
- Clearing small internal pipes.
- Tanker work - dragging pipes of pressured water.

The successful Drainage Engineer will have the following related skills / experience:
- Valid driving licence.
- Physically able to complete heavy lifting.
- Previous drainage experience would be advantageous but not essential.
- Good timekeeping.
