The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of drainage systems for both commercial and domestic properties. Role offers Company Vehicle and Phone and working within a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys to assess drainage and water flow requirements.
  • Repair, and maintain drainage systems including pipes, gutters, manholes, and underground systems.
  • Conduct CCTV drainage surveys and diagnose potential issues.
  • Clear blockages, repair leaks, and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as jetting machines and excavation tools.
  • Work with a variety of materials including plastic, concrete, and metal pipes.
  • Operate tankers and pumps for drainage solutions and surface/foul water management.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure compliance on all projects.
  • Drive commercial vehicles to transport tools, equipment, and materials.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Drainage Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using drainage and plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Experience in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with CCTV drain surveys and equipment.
  • Valid driving license with experience operating commercial vehicles.

Working Monday to Friday

Over time available

Out of hours on a rota basis
