If so, we're looking for a talented Drama Teacher to join our enthusiastic team in Bristol. As a Drama Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to ignite student's imaginations, build their confidence, and instill a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts. We believe in the power of drama education to inspire creativity, foster self-expression, and develop essential life skills.

Our drama program provides students with a supportive and inclusive environment where they can explore, collaborate, and shine on stage.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive drama lessons that stimulate student's creativity and passion for the performing arts.
  • Introduce students to a variety of dramatic techniques, styles, and genres, encouraging them to explore characters, emotions, and storytelling.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, supported, and inspired to express themselves authentically.
  • Encourage students to develop their communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills through drama activities, improvisation, and script analysis.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
  • A PGCE with QTS is preferred.
  • Previous experience teaching drama to students in a school or educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong theatrical skills and knowledge of drama techniques, stagecraft, and production processes.
