We are working with a leading provider of renewable energy consultancy and services, dedicated to supporting the sustainable development of wind, solar, hydro, and biomass projects across the globe. We are committed to innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of the energy sector. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a motivated and hardworking Land Drilling Associate to join our team in Scotland.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and setup of drilling rigs and equipment on site.
  • Support the drilling team in drilling operations, including sampling and data collection.
  • Ensure all drilling activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on drilling equipment.
  • Assist with the transportation and logistics of equipment and materials to and from the drilling sites.
  • Record and report drilling progress and any issues encountered to the site supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on-site and in the workshop.
  • Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and other team members to ensure efficient and effective drilling operations.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in drilling or a related field with Level 2 Land Drilling Certification
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and remote locations.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Valid UK driving license.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
  • Willingness to work in physically demanding and potentially hazardous environments.
  • Capability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and coordination.
