IDVA – Drive Programme
LOCATION:               South Glos (Warmley, Kingswood)
HOURS:                     37.5 (Occasional on Call responsibilities)
SALARY:                   £15.12 + Holiday £16.94 PAYE - £16.94 Umbrella
DURATION:  Temp to Perm available
START DATE:           ASAP
Are you ready to make a real difference in people's lives? Our client, a leading Housing Association is seeking a passionate and dedicated IDVA to join their team on a temp to perm basis. As an IDVA, you will play a crucial role in providing support to victim’s whose perpetrators are part of the DRIVE Programme in South Gloucestershire, Bristol and North Somerset and close partnership working with the Lighthouse, MARAC and the DRIVE Project.
 
  • Empower survivors of domestic abuse to regain control of their lives
  • Provide one-to-one support and advocacy, offering practical and emotional assistance.
  • Work collaboratively with partners and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to support, encouraging engagement through collaboratively working with those affected by domestic violence & abuse.
 
Preferred Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and risk assessment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations
  • Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to supporting survivors
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recognized qualification in domestic abuse or related field
  • Training in trauma-informed practice
  • Valid driving license and access to own vehicle
