Job Title: Driver 3.5 Tonne 

Pay rate: £11.50 + overtime

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, as well as loading and unloading items at various destinations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 3.5 tonne vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Verify the accuracy of delivery documents and ensure all items are accounted for during loading and unloading.
• Assembling equipment
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license for operating a 3.5 tonne vehicle. (no CD, DD, DR, IN endorsements)
• Proven experience as a 3.5 tonne driver or similar role.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and overtime if needed.
