Pro-Found are looking to recruit a 7.5 Tonne Driver for our client based in Killamarsh, S21

7.5 Tonne Driver Benefits:

  • Pay: £14 per hour plus overtime rates
  • Location: Killamarsh, S21
  • Hours: 7am to finish (core hours 7am to 4pm) - flexibility required
  • Monday to Friday and occasional weekends
  • Some overnight stays - fully expensed by the client
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Contract: Temporary ongoing - potential to become permanent

7.5 Tonne Driver role:

Required to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle, delivering and installing outdoor furniture to locations around the UK.

7.5 Tonne Driver Duties:

  • Driving 7.5 tonne vehicle - vehicle has to be left on site so you will need your own transport to get to and from Killamarsh
  • Basic installation of furniture, benches, tables, planters and booth seating
  • Using hand tools
  • Provide excellent customer service when delivering goods
  • Handling driver dockets, paperwork & cash
  • Avoiding damages to stock through proper manual handling
  • Daily checking of delivery vehicles
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations
  • Must be flexible with hours
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Be able to work using own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Be a team player

7.5 Tonne Driver Criteria:

  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Valid CPC with category entitlement
  • No more than 3 points on driving licence
  • Previous experience in a similar delivery role is essential
  • Willingness to work on site as well as drive
  • Strong customer service skills
  • No unspent convictions as the role requires s basic DBS check
