We are urgenty searching for an Operations Assistant/Coordinator for this charitible organisation just to the North of Cambridge near Milton.

This would really suit someone who is looking to stay active, is physically fit and wants a role with real job satisfaction which will certainly give back to the community.

This role will incorporate some logistics, (van driving) some retail and some mentoring to more junior members of the team.

***Please note, there will be the need for some occassional heavy lifting of pieces of furniture and other donations.

A background of pub/retail management would an excellent grounding for this.

Duties will include:

  1. Oversee and coach a combination of the people the charity supports and volunteers
  2. Undertake physical tasks such as moving furniture, clothing, bric-a-brac,
  3. Provide customer service in our retail operation
  4. Undertake collections and deliveries, which involves driving the fleet vehicles and lifting and carrying as above

Salary: £25k per annum for 37.5hrs per week.

**Please note, this is 5 days across 7, and will include on occasion weekends and bank holidays. There is no evening work typically.
