Driver

We are looking to recruit ad-hoc drivers on a temporary, contract basis.

Candidates will be immediately available, and ideally be based in the Aberdeen area.

Our client is a privately owned group of companies that specialise in the automotive sector.

In addition to our daily and flexible rental solutions, the group provides a vast number of services through our three key divisions - Fleet Management, Refrigeration and Fleet Maintenance.

Services include:

• CONTRACT HIRE
• FLEET MANAGEMENT
• ACCIDENT MANAGEMENT
• FLEET MAINTENANCE
• TAIL-LIFT MAINTENANCE
• REFRIGERATION
• VEHICLE DISPOSAL
• DAILY RENTAL

Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, trucks, or buses, depending on the job requirements.
Transport goods and/or passengers to specified locations in a timely manner.
Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, including routine checks on oil, water, fuel, and tire pressure.
Follow all local traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
Keep accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours, mileage, and maintenance.
Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues to management immediately.
Provide excellent customer service to passengers and clients as needed.
