We are looking for a dedicated Minibus Driver to join an independent school, primarily operating the morning and after-school bus routes, as well as transporting pupils and staff to various school events. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and comfort of our pupils and maintain the minibus in excellent condition.

Hours - 7am – 9am and 3.30pm – 6.30pm

In addition, the successful applicant maybe called on to driver for sporting fixtures on an adhoc basis.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Operate the school’s minibus routes, ensuring timely and safe transportation of pupils.
  • Transport students and staff to school events, such as activity days, sports fixtures, trips, and visits.
  • Maintain the minibus’s cleanliness and condition, including daily visual inspections
  • Adhere to all relevant school policies, including Health and Safety guidelines for Minibus Drivers.
  • Liaise directly with parents when necessary and maintain a high standard of professional conduct at all times.
  • Act as an ambassador for the School, promoting its ethos and values within the local community and beyond.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous driving experience 
  • D1 license
  • Ability to maintain high standards of safety and vehicle upkeep.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to act as a school ambassador.
  • Commitment to the school’s ethos and values.
