Job Title: Drivers Mate

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Company Overview:

We are a busy and fast-paced alcohol distribution company supplying a wide range of products across the region. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and physically fit Drivers Mate to join our team at our M30 site.

Job Purpose:

To assist the delivery driver with the safe and efficient delivery of alcohol products to various customers. The role involves a mix of warehouse duties and on-the-road responsibilities, including handling goods, preparing orders, and providing excellent service during deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the driver with route navigation and safe delivery of goods

- Load and unload products from the vehicle

- Pick, pack, and prepare orders in the warehouse

- Ensure accurate delivery of goods to customers

- Handle stock with care and attention

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment

- Provide excellent customer service at point of delivery

- Adhere to all company procedures and health & safety regulations

Requirements:

- Must be physically fit - heavy lifting is required

- Punctual, reliable, and hardworking

- Must have all PPE required - Safety Boots

- Good team player with a positive attitude

- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure

- Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery role is advantageous but not essential
