Key Responsibilities

  • The Children’s Home Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of two residential homes.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop, support, and motivate a competent team across both locations.
  • The Children’s Home Manager will ensure both homes comply with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards, including Ofsted requirements.
  • Effectively manage the budgets and resources of both homes.

Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) - Desirable
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent
  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory role within residential care for children, with specific experience in caring for children with emotional and behavioural disorders as well as complex learning difficulties.
  • The Children’s Home Managerwill have strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and national care standards.
