Dual Registered Manager Children's Home
Location: Walsall Area
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: starts at £55,000.00 with an increase to £57,500 upon registration, plus £3,000 annual bonus. Please note both homes are fully operational.

Dual Homes (Registered Manager: We are seeking a fulltime experienced Dual Homes Manager responsible for the smooth running of our 2 therapeutic (EBD) Residential Children’s Homes in Walsall. The candidate must have had previous registration with Ofsted to enable them to pass their fit person registration together with strong leadership skills within Children’s Residential Care setting, and 2 years previous experience in a supervisory position. To ensure the provision of high-quality care for our young people in accordance with the Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, Ofsted and all other statutory and regulatory requirements.

Working hours are 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday), with the requirement on occasion, to work such hours over and above your normal weekly pattern as reasonably required.

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Must complete and be successful in the registration process with Ofsted.
• Achieved (or working towards) L5 Leadership & Management or transferable qualification.
• Two years previous experience in a supervisory role
• Strong Leadership skills
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to Engage, Motivate and Inspire
• Resilience
• Flexibility
• Committed to improving the lives of young people.
• Cognisant of both professional and personal boundaries and maintaining a professional working relationship when engaging with senior managers, staff and most importantly the young people in our care.
