An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dual Skill Engineer (Electrically Biased) to join our thriving UK Medical Device Manufacturing Company to work within our expanding Engineering Department.

We are looking to recruit a Dual Skill Engineer to form a team of four Engineers on a rotating shift pattern. This team will be responsible for providing primary electrical support for the production machines on the site.

The role will require fault finding, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), installations and upgrades to circuitry in addition to mechanically supporting breakdowns as and when required.
All work must be completed effectively, with machine downtime being kept to a minimum, and within target expectations whilst adhering to the latest Health and Safety Regulations and best practices.

Essential Experience/Qualifications:

• Electrically biased Dual Skill Engineering Qualifications (Level 3 Apprenticeship) or equivalent
• Experience of automated production environment
• Strong Health and Safety knowledge
• Strong relationship building qualities
• Understanding of working in a controlled environment
• Ability to manage downtime and priorities
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to modify machine wiring
• Ability to read engineering drawings electrically and mechanically

Desirable Experience/Qualifications:

• Injection Moulding
• Knowledge and understanding of quick changeover best practices
• 18th Edition
• PLC knowledge

Hours of Work:

• Rotating 24hour shift pattern
• 2 Days Working, 2 Days off, 2 Nights Working, 2 Days off
• 7:00am – 19:30pm and 19:00pm – 7:30am

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
