To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking for those who can offer experience in ODD. You should already be able to conduct ODD on a variety of fund strategies, however the client will be willing to train you in their style and approach. You will have exposure to undertaking ODD for various alternative strategies, with particular preference to those with Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Credit or Infrastructure. They would consider someone who has ODD experience gained as a Fund Auditor or Accountant, and prefer those who are in possession of professional qualification (e.g. CAIA, CFA, ACA) or interest in obtaining relevant professional qualification
As part of the ODD team, you will have the opportunity to review funds with a diverse mix of strategies, but with particular interest in PE, infrastructure, RE and Private Credit. You will be responsible for assessing operational processes, identifying operational risks and recommending mitigating procedures to help address the risks. Analysis is delivered through written research reports which can be accessed directly by their clients. This includes reviewing an investment manager’s organization, investment operations, counterparty management, financing, valuation, information security, regulatory compliance, and employment practices.
