We are looking for an Early Careers Advisor to join our team in Weybridge. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about nurturing talent and facilitating the professional growth of individuals at the start of their careers. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing early careers programmes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Design and deliver early careers programmes, including apprenticeships, graduate schemes, and internships.
- Act as a mentor and coach to individuals in early career programmes, providing guidance and support.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, training providers, and other relevant organisations.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure successful integration and development of early career individuals.
- Monitor and report on the progress of participants in early careers programmes.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in early careers development and adjust programmes accordingly.
- Organise and facilitate workshops, career fairs, and networking events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in early careers development, talent management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by individuals in the early stages of their careers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to design and implement effective early careers programmes.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- A proactive and innovative approach to career development.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is desirable.
