Looking either for candidates ideally who already hold a level 2 or 3 childcare / early years qualification, or candidates who do not yet hold a qualification as full training and support can be provided. We also have a training scheme in place for people who are looking to obtain their early years levels or complete further courses.

As an Early Years / Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our nursery. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in early childhood education and a passion for working with children.

Duties of the Early Years / Nursery Practitioner include:

  • Create a stimulating and engaging environment for children in the nursery
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
  • Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety at all times
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Observe and assess children's development and provide feedback to parents
  • Collaborate with other nursery practitioners to create a cohesive team environment
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
  • Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
  • Be qualified to Level 2, 3 or equivalent in childcare / early years (desirable)
  • Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages (desirable)

We offer competitive compensation based on experience as well as a range of other benefits including regular performance related pay reviews, funded further training opportunities, professional development and great opportunities for progression.
