Your Role as an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant:

As an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs within our early years setting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one support to children with SEN, helping them achieve their developmental milestones.
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all children.
  • Building strong relationships with parents and caregivers to ensure a collaborative approach to the child's development.
  • Contributing to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and tracking progress.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with young children with SEN.

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable.
