At Engage Education, we’ve specialised in recruiting teaching assistants for over a decade, so we know a bit about finding the ideal school for you. We’re currently looking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in Shoreham by Sea. This is a long term, full time position to start as soon as possible. The school have a dedicated senior leadership team who are passionate about supporting and developing their staff team.

Our teaching assistants’ duties can include:

  • General classroom support
  • Supporting pupils in small groups
  • Providing intervention support

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience supporting children in a school or nursery setting
  • A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
  • Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
  • A relevant level 2 qualification
  • High expectations of achievement and behaviour
