EC&I Engineer

Jobstore are excited to be recruiting for an EC&I Engineer to join our clients UK leading niche organisation based near Manchester.

In this role the successful applicant will be responsible for the comprehensive electrical design and delivery of a range of bespoke high value projects for clients across the UK.

We are looking for someone to report directly to the Head of Engineering, and be able to create and develop the electrical schematics, functional design specifications, and PLC programming of machinery to be installed in regulated and clean room environments with blue chip clients.

Your key responsibilities will be;
To create and develop detailed electrical design schematics of standard and bespoke machine designs for containment applications
Take ownership of the electrical and software design requirements from product concept through to delivery with the project team
Create electrical wiring schematics and instrument schedules
Produce the Functional Design Specifications for new products
Production of HMI and PLC software design
Produce Bills of Materials to provide accurate and detailed specifications
Support field-based engineers on site in the UK and abroad where necessary
Work closely with others in the Engineering Team to help develop new products for new and emerging markets

The ideal applicant will have at least 2 - 3yerars experience in a similar position, with proven experience in producing detailed electrical designs and would have ideally worked with Siemens PLCs.

You must be a team player who works well within a group and also alone.

Problem solving skills and a great attention to detail is essential.

In return this company will offer a competitive salary of between £44,000 to £47,000 plus an extensive benefits package which includes, company bonus, great holidays, health and death cover, car parking and extensive leisure discounts scheme.
