Ecologist Contract

Your new company
My client is a part of a group that offers a range of services including Ecological consultancy. They were established over 40 years ago and have provided services to their clients nationally ever since. They work on a range of large scale infrastructure projects as well as others.
Your new role
My client is looking for experienced Ecologists to work on a contract basis, outside IR35 regulations if required.
The contracts are based on a large infrastructure project and can be accessible from the Midlands and South.
The work can include all aspects of Ecological consultancy such as habitat management, protected species surveys, Biodiversity Net Gain, ECoW, impact assessments, thermal imaging and more. Typically, you would be on site 4 days a week and 1 day at desk, however this can be flexible and reduced if need be. 9 hours p/day with an hour break, also flexible.
What you'll need to succeed
Required

• Good Ecological surveying skills
• ECoW experience
• Protected species experience
• Construction Ecology experience
• CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence and vehicle

Ideally

• Protected species licence; GCN, Badger, Bat, Barn Owl, Dormouse, Birds, Crayfish
• Accredited agent licenses
• Extended experience surveying, report writing, managing junior Ecologists etc.

What you'll get in return

• £150 - £400 p/day roughly (expenses included)
