Ecologist - Hampshire / Surrey - Permanent - £32,000 Per Annum

ARM are working with an Environmental company that plays a key role in the Rail industry. They are currently recruiting for an Ecologist to join their team on a permanent basis in the East of Hampshire.

About You:
You will have a Degree or equivalent in Ecology or similar.
You will have previous experience working as an Ecologist with experience of assessments such as Preliminary Ecological Appraisal (PEA's) and site surveys.
You will have a good understanding of the ecology of UK-protected species such as Newts, Dormice, and Bats.
You will hold a valid Driver's License.

What you will be doing:
In this position, you will be tasked with undertaking site surveys to help produce Preliminary Ecological Assessments. You will also look to assist the Senior Ecologist in the collection of data, information, and analysis to help the production of reports in the design of species and habitat mitigation measures.

This position is based in the East of Hampshire and requires you to work weekends, evenings, and overnight shifts. You will be required to hold a valid Driver's license.

The salary for this position is £32,000 Per Annum depending on experience. The company offers an excellent range of benefits that include generous pension and holiday allowances with a Company Vehicle and Fuel card. Plus many more great benefits.
