Ecommerce Manager (US Website)- London (Hybrid 1 wfh day per week) - Up to £60,000

Our client, a prominent player in luxury retail, is seeking an Ecommerce Manager to enhance their American online presence and drive website growth. Based in London with flexible and hybrid working, this role is a crucial part of their Ecommerce strategy in the growing American market.

The ideal candidate will be target driven and passionate about reaching business performance KPI’s and customer expectations. You will be expected to understand the websites performance by using analytics tools and working closely alongside the Insight and web dev team in order to make daily recommendations of amendments. This role also requires a strong commercial flair and excellent communication and organisation skills.

Key responsibilities of the eCommerce and Trading Manager

  • Take full ownership of page content, product merchandising, search results, promotional banners and product listings
  • Work closely with the Head of eCommerce in order to drive sales and profitability by generating successful promotions and offers
  • Plan, develop and manage the American trading, seasonal and promotional campaigns and ensure that they represent the brand effectively
  • Optimise the website in order to improve the customer journey and increase conversions
  • Produce landing pages and optimise cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
  • Generate new ideas which will improve customer satisfaction
  • Raise any website issues which occur on the website with the developers and develop solutions to the problem
  • Work alongside on-site search provider to optimise onsite search accuracy and performance
  • Incorporate best practices in conversion rate optimisation across USA market
  • Supervise all product development and SEO activity
  • Prepare reports and analyse opportunity gaps for growth
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to ensure all trading activity launches on time and can be tracked effectively

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Proven experience in a similar Ecommerce & Trading role
  • Background working within the American market or luxury retail is beneficial
  • Previous experience within digital marketing and eCommerce
  • A creative individual who likes to break down barriers and think outside the box
  • Demonstrates a genuine interest in fashion and retail!
  • Confident in reporting on performance and making recommendation for improvements
  • An analytics focused individual with knowledge of Google analytics
  • Must have a good interpersonal skills and can use these with integrity to influence and gain buy within agencies and departments
