Ecommerce Manager - DIY Product - £45,000

Location: Essex - hybrid working, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office

Company Overview:
We are a growing paint brand dedicated to inspiring interior creators with quality products and a supportive community, currently thriving in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Expanding our reach, we have recently acquired a family-owned paint brand to integrate under our umbrella.

Position Overview:
Having achieved significant success on Amazon, we are now looking for an Ecommerce Manager to spearhead the launch of direct-to-consumer webshops in the UK, followed by the US. This role aims to drive online sales, enhance brand awareness, and improve customer engagement. You'll have the chance to shape your future and the strategic direction of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage our website using the Shopify platform, including product listings, pricing, promotions, website design, and user experience optimization to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis related to product offerings, pricing strategies, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Analyze key metrics and KPIs related to website performance, customer behavior, and product performance to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with our external development teams to drive product features, benefits, and customer needs, incorporating these insights into marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer support, and external partners, to ensure alignment and support for marketing and product initiatives.
  • Coordinate with a performance marketing agency to manage and optimize online marketing channels, including PPC campaigns, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and affiliate programs, aiming to drive traffic and conversions on the Shopify platform.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, Shopify updates, new product features, and digital marketing innovations to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to provide insights, progress updates, and recommendations for future strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Shopify or similar CMS platforms, including managing product listings, pricing, promotions, and website optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions related to Shopify performance and product development.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Experience working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a focus on meeting deadlines and exceeding targets.
  • Understanding of Amazon is beneficial but not essential
