Ecommerce Website and Merchandising Specialist

Salt's client, a retail company is on the hunt for an eCommerce Website and Merchandising Specialist to join their team. The business has been established for over 30 years and has seen continuous growth, with them exploring new markets geographically and targeting new customers.

In this role you will report to the Head of Brand and Digital Marketing and be responsible for the planning and delivery of the brands e-commerce website. This position is a perfect fit for a budding Ecommerce whizz with a creative and curious mindset!

The role:

* Be responsible for the website content, planning campaign launches and new product uploads.

* Assist with the daily merchandising of the website, ensuring the best CR and AOV.

* Make sure the different geographical websites are optimised for their specific regions.

* Conducting site walks to ensure optimised user experience, for example making sure site navigation is kept up to date.

* Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the brand strategy is aligned with the website.

* Conduct competitor analysis to ensure eCommerce best practices are adhered to.

Key Skills Required:

* Ideally hold at least 18 months of experience working within an E-commerce environment or possesses a relevant qualification.

* Experience with Magento and Wordpress advantageous.

* Strong written English.

* Basic understanding of SEO

* Highly organised with an ability to multitask!

* Good time management
