ECONOMETRICIAN

THE COMPANY

I have partnered with a broadcasting powerhouse looking to expand its Econometrics function. You will play a key role in building models to understand the effectiveness of campaigns, utilising advanced statistical techniques.

THE ROLE

The successful Econometrician responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with the newly formed Econometrics team to execute econometric modelling projects that align with established goals
  • Construct models that accurately measure the elements influencing key business performance indicators
  • Translate the results of these models into practical insights that enhance their value proposition
  • Engage with the broader team to optimise the utilisation of analytics for maximum business benefit, fostering support and confidence throughout the entire organization

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Econometrician will have the following skills and experience:

  • A quantitative degree in fields like Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
  • Proficiency in constructing models to assess the impact of media and interpreting their results
  • A strong interest in employing advanced statistical methods, including econometrics, to transform observable data into practical suggestions
  • Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation
  • An enthusiastic mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing commercial environment. Familiarity with Python is a plus

THE BENEFITS

The successful Econometrician will receive a salary of up to £48,000, plus an array of additional benefits.
