Economics Teacher
Job Title: Economics Teacher
Location: East London
Remedy Education is currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Economics Teachers to join our Schools based in East London. The successful candidates will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in key stage 4/5.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have the ability to teach across the full age range.
- Have a proven track record of consistently adding value to their students in all the schools they have taught.
- Possess a recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS, QTLS)
- You must have previous experience in teaching Economics
- Hold a valid DBS check (or CRB issued within the last 12 months), as well as any applicable Overseas Police Checks
Responsibilities:
* Teach economics to secondary school students in a dynamic and engaging manner.
* Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the school curriculum.
* Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to enhance the educational experience for students.
* Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field.
* Teaching experience in secondary education, preferably in economics.
* Strong knowledge of economic theory and current economic issues.
* Ability to effectively communicate complex economic concepts to students.
* Excellent organisational and time management skill
* Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
