Reed FE is working with a great client is seeking a passionate and well-qualified Economics Teacher to join our outstanding Education establishment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are dedicated to inspiring students and have high expectations for both their learners and themselves. The successful candidate will enjoy working with small groups of highly motivated and well-behaved students, aiming for the highest academic achievements.

Day to Day of the Role of a Economics Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality A Level lessons to small groups of students.
  • Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and excellence.
  • Prepare students for A Level examinations with a focus on achieving top results.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the college’s vibrant academic community.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and contribute to the college’s continuous improvement.
  • Support and guide students throughout their academic journey at the college.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Economics Teacher position:

  • Possess a degree from a recognised University.
  • Preferably have experience teaching A Level Economics, with or without a teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • Exhibit excellent collaboration skills and enthusiasm for working alongside colleagues.
  • Embody principles of thoughtfulness and intentionality in decision-making and actions.
  • Have a growth mindset and value innovation as a route to improvement and growth.
  • Build and foster relationships characterised by kindness, care, empathy, and respect.
  • Be a reflective practitioner open to feedback and different perspectives.
  • Embrace and effectively use technology as a tool for teaching and learning.
