Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Economics teacher looking for a new challenge?

We are a highly regarded secondary school in East Grinstead, dedicated to fostering academic excellence and nurturing the talents of our students. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join our vibrant team. This role is in partnership with Zen Educate, an innovative education staffing agency committed to enhancing the quality of teaching in schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Economics lessons to students at KS4 and KS5 levels.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curriculum enhancements.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Economics or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Economics at secondary school level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
