This well-recognised manufacturing corporation based in Central London is looking for an EDI Project Support to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is a 6-month temporary role and is available for candidates who are able to interview and start immediately. This role is a part-time position of 20 hours per week, with usual office hours operating between 9:00-17:00.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of IT and Project Director and working closely with both company and client IT teams, this role is responsible for supporting an EDI implementation project and driving efficiency. The duties of the role will include:

  • Liaising between the company's IT team and the client's IT team to drive forward implementation
  • Organising and participating in shareholder meetings
  • Maintaining project documentation, such as reports and plans, and controlling schedules
  • Communicating project objectives and status to team members
  • Maintaining project budgets and timelines


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills/requirements:

  • Previous experience working on an EDI implementation, project or system.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar experience with a focus on electronic data interchange.
  • Project coordination/management skills with the ability to drive efficiency and push the project forward.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills to collaborate with all teams involved.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Proactive attitude who takes responsibility and initiative when possible.
